The sky clears, and everythign you have is in ruin. The tattered sky parts in blissful silence, and the lone warm notes of the street musician are all that can comfort you.

Suport the Red Cross and any relief funds that you can. People need your help today.

Daily DeviationAfter The Rain by =GenoPunk grabbed me by the heart and squeezed. A powerful and emotional piece that depicts not only the sadness and despair.. but also a touch of hope. I wish you all well. (Suggested by !Mike and Featured by $Moonbeam13)

O_O WOW! You really know how to convey depression and anguish in this picture!

The way the man plays his harmonica, and the tattered cloth really have a strong impact.

Unfortunately... I can't think of a way to help, because I am essentially broke and I live so far away ;_; So very sorry...

(Btw, how long did this take you to finish?)

Comics, cartoons, paintings... I try.

This took about 2 hours from start to finish.

Thanks for taking a look, just talking about the subject can bring awarness.

Your support is apreciated, even if just in spirit.
i just can't believe you've had so few views. this is heartwrenching.

leave me some love and i'll leave some back!
It's a symbol of hope. I like it. I live in California, and my life is pretty silly. I'm a little ashamed that this grieves me more than 9/11 did... maybe because the September attacks were turned into such a travesty. I hope that doesn't happen with the victims of Katrina. May the dead rest in peace, the living find solace, and the hopeless find peace. I'm going to try and add to the HK2005 category, myself, but it won't be nearly as moving as this, I'm sure.

I add my empty-pocketed support in spirit!

Thanks for the good thoughts. I know that the familes that are affected are touched by the messages of hope and love sent by all of us.

The disaster in New Orleans hit home with me, as I had so many fond memories from my visits there.

Thanks again.
Thank you, it's a very important piece to me.
If it touches even one person, I am glad for the opertunity to have shared my feelings.
This is hopeful, somehow. Thank you.
Wonderful... I have already donated and have a number of friends on their way to help... giving whatever comfort can be given to those in need I'm devasted at the loss of a city I loved to visit.
