Dr. Patriot managed to escape with his life, separated from his team of intrepid explores. Deep within a luminescent cave, he takes shelter. The warm glow from the ceiling orb attracts his attention, only he is about to discover that it too CAME FROM THE CENTER OF THE EARTH.

The Core Beatle drills through the earth with its fierce pincers, and angled body plates. Emerging into the cave it searches to feast upon the eggs of the Turtiladon. The mother Turtiladon senses the skitter of the Core Beatles, and turns to defend its eggs.
